ADENIUM — A demonstrator for a next-generation beam telescope at DESY

Abstract High-resolution beam telescopes for charged particle tracking are one of the most important and equally demanding infrastructure items at test facilities. The main purpose is to provide precise reference track information particles measure performance a device under (DUT). In this report development ADENIUM telescope ( A LPIDE sensor based DE SY N ext I nstr um ent) as demonstrator prototype next-generation presented. features up six pixelated planes framed by plastic scintillators triggering. capable replacing currently used EUDET-type without impacting existing DUT implementations due integration DAQ into EUDAQ2. concept design well its discussed. telescope's pointing resolution determined in different configurations. For an optimal setup momentum 5.6 GeV with ALPIDE DUT, better than 3 μm has been extracted. No rate limitations have observed DESY II beam.
